When choosing a floor spring, the door weight is the primary consideration.

The second is the door width and wind pressure. The Dorma floor spring EN3 means the maximum door width is 950mm, EN4 means the maximum door width is 1100mm, EN6 means the maximum door width is 1400mm, the heavier the door, the wider the door leaf, the floor spring needs to be used bigger. For example, Doma floor spring BTS80 is suitable for a maximum door width of 1400mm and a maximum door weight of 300KG. In coastal cities, outdoor door floor springs must have good wind resistance. Doma floor spring BTS84 is the most suitable choice. Double-deficient floor springs have better return and wind resistance.
